A friendly and welcoming primary school in the BS48 area of North Somerset is currently looking for a Year 4 Teacher to join their team. 

This is a 2 form entry school where the team is strong and supportive, dedicated to providing a curriculum that prepares children for their next stage, creating a positive environment for pupils to work in, that is both supportive and inclusive.

The Role 

This role is for a Full-Time Year 4 Teacher to start from January for the rest of the academic year. 

The Head Teacher is looking for someone with experience throughout KS2 and has a great knowledge of the curriculum. Someone who is a talented, enthusiastic and motivated candidate. You must have great communication skills as you would be working in partnership with another Class Teacher. 

You will be expected to: 

  • Ability to differentiate lessons well to ensure everyone is able to access the learning. 
  • Create an engaging learning environment
  • Good Team Player and work collaboratively with other year group teachers. 
  • Bring a welcoming and inclusive environment. 
  • Plan and Deliver high quality lessons to inspire and motivate
  • Work closely with the Class Teaching Assistant to support SEND children.
