Due to fleet expansion we are looking to recruit Class 1 & Class 2 drivers for our fleet of vehicles including rigid tankers, curtain side artics and tanker semi-trailers. Joining our team means hard work, hands on management, and all the perks that come with working for a family business. The nature of our business means longer hours through the summer months, including a share of weekend work.

Job description

Reporting to the directors you will be responsible for driving our modern fleet of well-maintained vehicles on a day to day basis. The roles includes emptying septic tanks, sewage treatment plants and pump chambers. The artic work will involve moving our fleet of hire equipment as required and then various sub-contracted roles through the quieter periods. Through the summer months we adopt a rota system and you will be expected to be on this from April to September with weekend work outside of these times on an as and when basis.

Days are generally 8-10 hours with additional overtime during the summer months.

All applicants to be age 25+ with a clean driving license and have up to date Tacho & CPC cards.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £14.00-£17.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
