Position –

Pig Stockperson – On one of our farms in the Driffield area.

About Yorkwold Pig Pro –

Yorkwold Pigpro is part of the Dewhirst Farming group, which is a family run business based in East Yorkshire. Yorkwold was founded in 1972 and is a well invested, progressive pig production business, with 8,000 breeding sows housed across 12 farms along with 22 finishing farms.

Job Responsibilities –

  • Maintaining the health and welfare of all the pigs.
  • On a daily basis you will be involved in the feeding, moving and handling of the pigs.
  • Work with other members of the team in a safe and professional manner.
  • Maintain a high level of housekeeping.

What we are looking for –

  • A valid UK driving license.
  • A reliable, punctual, polite and honest team member.
  • A team player.
  • Ability to align to the company's Core Values.
  • Ability to communicate in a positive, open and honest way at all times.
  • Ability to work overtime as and when required.

Working Schedule –

  • Basic working week is 39 hours, Monday to Friday plus overtime as and when required.
  • Alternative weekends are required and paid at overtime rate.
