Job Description:

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong experience in Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
  • Proficiency with Kubernetes (deployment, Helm charts).
  • Expertise in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
  • Hands-on experience with DevOps tools and workflows.
  • Solid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible).
  • Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and orchestration
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science/engineering or 5+ years of equivalent experience in related disciplines

*Hands-on strong Java skills, CICD, Rest, Spring , Kubernetes (advance) , Git hub actions, CICD , Terraform will be a big plus (Interviewing B40 is Terraform SME ), Platform Engineer experience is a plus.

Minimal 7+ years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain backend microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
  • Build and maintain internal developer platforms for application deployment and lifecycle management.
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, including deployment strategies and Helm charts.
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to improve workflows and provide self-service capabilities.
  • Deploy applications to cloud platforms (Private/Public Cloud – AWS).
  • Ensure platform reliability, scalability, and security across environments.
  • Monitor and optimize platform performance and cost efficiency.

Job Type: Fixed term contract

Contract length: 6 months

Pay: £280.00-£300.00 per day
