Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and proper handling of linens, clothing, and other textiles. The ideal candidate will have experience with laundry processes, including washing, drying, and dry cleaning, and may have prior hotel or hospitality experience. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction in a professional environment.

Responsibilities

  • Operate laundry equipment such as washers, dryers, and dry cleaning machines efficiently and safely
  • Sort linens and garments according to type and cleaning requirements
  • Handle delicate or special items with care, including dry cleaning procedures when necessary
  • Maintain cleanliness of laundry areas and equipment to ensure hygiene standards are met
  • Follow safety protocols and proper handling procedures for chemicals used in cleaning processes
  • Assist with inventory management of laundry supplies and detergents
  • Ensure timely processing of laundry to meet operational needs

Requirements

  • Previous experience with laundry operations, including washing, drying, and dry cleaning preferred
  • Knowledge of cleaning procedures and safety standards in a hospitality or hotel setting is a plus
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure high-quality cleaning results
  • Good organizational skills and reliability
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work various shifts as needed
