As the Digital Media Supervisor, you will be assisted in guiding the strategy, identifying key measurements, and implementing paid digital media solutions and other emerging media channels for various client initiatives. You will develop and execute digital media strategies and campaigns across all forms of digital media (e.g., programmatic, paid search, paid social, display, video, etc.). You are the day-to-day liaison between the client and the media community, and you will build and maintain strong relationships with the media vendors to ensure that clients get premium access to opportunities and that our plans are the most innovative in the industry.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide oversight of client and lead a Senior Media Planner
• Prepare and present digital media plans, including objectives, strategy, rationale, and all backup materials.
• Work with the Gravity Activation team to ensure digital media strategies are effectively brought to life.
• Lead the execution of media plans, including preparation of media budgets, schedules of insertions, and supporting materials.
• Prepare media authorizations per approved plans/project request.
• Prepare buy releases upon client authorizations as well as budget recaps for clients.
• Monitor buys during the negotiation process and check final buys for adherence to guidelines.
• Assist the Media Finance group in stabilizing budgets and expenditures.
• Periodic meetings between account supervisors and clients reveal no significant media-related problems
• Proof of advertising performance is reflected in accountability reports submitted by various media for client campaigns.
• Developing digital/offline plans reaching complex business to business and business targets.
• Bringing new thinking to agencies online media plans.
• Familiarity with the digital marketing landscape including banners, email, rich media, search marketing, mobile and more.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
• 5-7 years of Global media planning experience; mix of media planning skills strongly preferred with a heavy emphasis on digital
• B2B marketing focus in past employment, particularly at an Agency
• Experience in managing Publishing partner relationships, both online and in-print
• An understanding of all digital marketing communications media types (Programmatic, Search, Social)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to become an "influential consultant" to clients.
• Ability to link business goals with strategic executions.
• Well versed in knowledge and strategic application of key software platforms, media research/data analytic tools (Prisma experience a plus)
• Has strong knowledge and experience with tools and platforms such as: Google Ads, Facebook Ad Manager, Google Analytics, competitive reporting, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. (Landing Page Testing platform experience a plus)
• Proficiency in media terminology, concepts, media math, calculations, KPI development and third-party research tools
