Integration Design Engineer
to join its global IT department. The successful candidate will design, develop, and maintain integration processes across cloud and on-premise systems using
Boomi
or other
iPaaS platforms
.

This role involves close collaboration with business analysts, architects, and cross-functional engineering teams to deliver secure, scalable, and efficient integration solutions. The Integration Design Engineer will also support the design of platform and product solutions, champion best practices, and promote agile delivery and modern engineering approaches.

Your Profile

The ideal candidate will be a proactive and technically skilled integration specialist, comfortable working in a complex, global environment. They will bring a strong understanding of iPaaS solutions, cloud integration, and agile delivery principles, along with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain integration processes using
    Boomi
    or other
    iPaaS platforms
    .
  • Configure and optimise workflows to ensure seamless data flow between cloud and on-premise systems.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and IT teams to gather requirements and deliver integration solutions.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot integration processes, ensuring performance, reliability, and data integrity.
  • Document integration designs, workflows, and technical specifications.
  • Stay informed of the latest best practices and updates in Boomi and other iPaaS technologies.
  • Contribute to the design and delivery of scalable, secure platform and product solutions.
  • Work with architecture, platform, and product teams to create detailed low-level designs.
  • Engage with third-party providers to ensure future adaptability of integration designs.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies and planning sessions to support continuous delivery.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of
    3 years' experience
    in integration engineering, preferably with
    Boomi
    or similar iPaaS platforms.
  • Proficiency in
    web services (SOAP, REST)
    ,
    XML
    ,
    JSON
    , and
    SQL
    .
  • Experience in
    cloud application integration
    and working within agile environments.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Boomi certification
    or experience with platforms such as
    MuleSoft
    or
    Workato
    is an advantage.
