Summary

We are seeking enthusiastic, friendly individual to join our team at the Wainwrights bar, Lakesway Lodge Park. In this role, you will contribute to creating a welcoming atmosphere for our owners whilst ensuring excellent service and safety standards. This position is based in Levens, LA8 8EQ and offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a vibrant hospitality team dedicated to guest satisfaction.

This role will mainly include working weekends and evenings. This position is a Zero-Hours contract.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for looking after our customers within the bar, by taking orders, making, and serving drinks.
  • Keeping the bar area and restaurant clean, tidy, and well stocked.
  • To ensure a high standard of cleanliness and an excellent public image is maintained.
  • Liaising with other team members to ensure tasks are completed effectively.
  • Answering the telephone in a professional manner and dealing with any requests such as restaurant bookings in a friendly and helpful way.
  • Responsible for making of quality beverages, generally specialty hot drinks.
  • Responsible for the cleaning and stocking of the coffee machines.
  • To provide product and Company information to customers to a high standard of competence.
  • Assisting the manager replenishing stock ensuring comply with stock rotation requirements.
  • Ensuring that all faults and defects, equipment, tools, buildings, etc., within the remit of the bar and restaurant are reported to your line manager.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Excellent team working skills.
  • Good time management, is organised and creates a good impression, takes pride in quality of work and is always presentable.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to convey information clearly and accurately
  • The Right to Work in the UK
  • Previous Experience is preferable but not a requirement
  • Willing to work towards Food Hygrine and Allergen qualification
  • A full UK Driving license and access to a vehicle
