Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Java Developer with strong hands-on experience in modern Java technologies and a solid background in the Banking domain. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Java 21/24, Spring, REST controllers, and API development, along with robust skills in unit testing, automation testing, and working knowledge of AWS.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality backend applications using Java 21/24 and Spring frameworks.
  • Build and enhance RESTful APIs to support business-critical banking applications.
  • Ensure application quality through comprehensive unit testing and automation testing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
  • Work within the banking domain to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performance systems.
  • Participate in code reviews, performance tuning, and best practice implementation.
  • Utilise AWS knowledge to support cloud-based deployments and architecture.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 10–18 years of proven hands-on experience in Java development.
  • Strong expertise in Java 21/24, Spring, and REST controller/API development.
  • Solid experience in unit testing and automation testing frameworks.
  • Banking domain experience is mandatory.
  • Working knowledge of AWS and cloud-native concepts.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: £70,000.00-£80,000.00 per year
