We are looking for an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Enfield Great Cambridge.
This is an ideal opportunity for a Registered Veterinary Nurse who's passionate about patient care and wants to be part of a friendly, progressive team in a well-equipped community practice.
At Medivet Enfield Great Cambridge Road, you'll enjoy a balance of clinical variety, autonomy, and support. The practice offers routine consults, surgical procedures, diagnostics, and nurse-led clinics — giving you the chance to fully use and grow your nursing skills every day.
You'll be part of a supportive team environment, with access to wider expertise through Medivet's hospital and referral network, including the nearby Enfield 24-Hour Hospital. Whether you're mentoring students, running your own consults, or assisting in theatre, your role will be meaningful — and never dull.
This is a full time role working 4 days a week with 1:6 full weekends at Enfield 24 Hour Hospital.

Role Accountabilities:

In this role you will:
Consistently deliver exceptional care to your clients.
Support with surgeries and procedures, completing all pre and post procedure activity.
Carry out nurse led appointments and schedule 3 activities.
Deliver patient monitoring and care.
Manage admissions and discharges as directed by the Veterinary team.
Complete patient transfers to out of hours or enhanced care.
Dispense and check medication.
Deliver professional excellence, complying with all regulatory, practice and operational standards.
Hold briefings to engage and co-ordinate your team to support the most effective running of the practice.
Your Skills and Experience:
RCVS registered Veterinary Nurse.
Experience of delivering exceptional patient and client care.
Experienced in working effectively as part of a team.
Experience of supporting Nurse consults, with an understanding of how this contributes to practice performance and efficiency.
Experienced in using coaching and influencing skills to get the best out of every colleague.
