About Operations
Kirintec have cemented a deserved position as a disruptive influence in the Electronic Countermeasures sector and are developing our Operational Delivery Team to keep pace with the demands of our growing customer base. The Operations department is a small and agile team that focuses on the successful delivery of bespoke equipment and capability development for international defence and security customers. Professionalism, responsibility and ownership are critical tenants to the team ethos that seeks to deliver efficiency through the professional application of independent decision making.
Critically, all team members are expected to continue to develop the professional delivery of projects and project team; support the planning and development of future contract tenders as well as wider company development.
This role is a key role within Operations.
Main duties of the position
The position of Store person is a key role within Kirintec. The main duties of the position are managing storage and movement of goods within stores both at on site and supplier premises.
Reporting Line
This role reports to Logistics Manager
Key Responsibilities
- Receiving all deliveries and checking the goods received
- Maintaining proper storage areas
- Track movement of all goods
- Liaising with suppliers about deliveries and discrepancies in stock
- Keeping detailed records of shortages and spares of items
- Updating stock management systems regularly
- Picking and packaging goods
- Preparing and despatching goods for export
- Supporting logistics team with all movement of goods
- Organising and delivering goods from the suppliers / stores as required
- Organising loading and unloading of shipments, as required
- Managing packaging and associated waste
- Ensure records are accurate and up to date
- Any other reasonable duties required to support the company in meeting its objectives
- Have due regard for PV Grading, F680 and Export Licence Controls
· Working to Kirintec's ISO standards
· Adhere to all Kirintec processes and policies
· Adhere to the national security framework in accordance with Security Requirements for List X Contractors
