Role Overview

As Streetworks Coordinator, you'll be responsible for managing and coordinating all aspects of streetworks permitting and compliance. You'll work closely with internal teams, local authorities, and contractors to ensure timely and lawful execution of works across our sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and submit permit applications under the New Roads and Street Works Act

(NRSWA)

  • Liaise with local authorities to ensure compliance with permit conditions and timelines

  • Monitor and track streetworks notices, ensuring accurate records and updates

  • Support operational teams with scheduling and permit-related queries

  • Maintain databases and systems for permit tracking and reporting

  • Ensure all works meet safety, environmental, and regulatory standards

Skills & Experience

  • Strong interest in civil engineering, infrastructure, or utilities operations, with a willingness

to learn streetworks coordination.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and streetworks management software (e.g., Reflow, ASG)

  • Detail-oriented with strong organisational and time management abilities

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams

  • Prior experience in streetworks or permit management is beneficial but not essential

  • Familiarity with SharePoint, Reflow, Microsoft Software

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £27,000.00-£30,000.00 per year

  • Taunton TA1: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
