Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial cleaning and janitorial services, ensuring that all facilities are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning tasks and a commitment to providing a safe and pleasant environment for all occupants.

Duties

  • Perform routine cleaning tasks in various settings, including offices, restrooms, kitchens, and communal areas.
  • This role has a flexible start time between 6am - 8am but 2hrs cleaning must be done each day giving a flexible end time between 8am - 10am. (10hrs per week)
  • £12.61 per hour
  • Monday to Friday.
  • Role location is LS19 6JY.
  • Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors to ensure they are free from dirt and debris.
  • Dust and wipe down surfaces, including furniture, fixtures and equipment.
  • Empty bins and dispose of waste in accordance with health and safety regulations.
  • Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and report any shortages or needs for replenishment.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is essential.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently.
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies, along with safe handling practices.
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
  • Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties that may require lifting or moving items.
