Top Mark Solutions UK Limited is a family-run, nationwide contractor specialising in professional line marking, facilities management and reactive maintenance services.

We deliver high-performance thermoplastic and MMA line markings across car parks, EV charging bays, highways, warehouses, playgrounds and a wide range of commercial environments.

Following recent major project awards and sustained growth across our UK-wide client base, we are expanding our operational team and looking to recruit a skilled Line Marking Operative to join us in early 2025.

Interviews will take place at the start of January, making this the perfect opportunity for anyone looking to start a new role in the New Year.

Key Responsibilities

  • Apply thermoplastic and MMA resin markings to highways, car parks, EV charging bays, warehouses, playgrounds and other commercial premises.
  • Operate, maintain and clean line-marking equipment, burners and associated tools to a high standard.
  • Work in line with Top Mark Solutions' specifications and quality expectations to deliver precise, long-lasting finishes.
  • Safely handle LPG-fuelled equipment and materials, following PUWER 1998, COSHH and approved RAMS.
  • Manage your allocated workload and communicate professionally with clients, Project Managers and Site Managers.
  • Take ownership of tasks and demonstrate proactive decision-making to keep projects progressing efficiently.
  • Audit completed works to ensure they meet our rigorous quality standards, reducing the need for call-backs.
  • Work flexibly across day, night and weekend shifts where required, maintaining strict Health & Safety protocols.
  • Complete all job sheets, photographs and site information via our digital BigChange platform.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget and to specification.
  • Maintain a clean, tidy and professional working environment, representing Top Mark Solutions positively at all times.

Essential Requirements

  • Proven experience in thermoplastic line marking (applications without this experience cannot be considered).
  • Practical knowledge of MMA or other road-resin systems.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to produce clean, accurate layouts.
  • Willingness to work nationwide, including frequent overnight stays as required.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team.
  • Strong communication skills and a solid work ethic.

Desirable Skills

  • Recognised line marking qualifications (City & Guilds / NVQ or equivalent).
  • Experience in car park, highway, warehouse or playground layouts.
  • CSCS card or equivalent H&S accreditation.
  • Experience supporting or mentoring junior operatives/apprentices.
  • Familiarity with digital job-management platforms such as BigChange.
