Kingston upon Thames, Greater London, United Kingdom Medivet Group Full time £60,000 - £120,000 per year

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented and confident Veterinary Surgeon to join our collaborative and supportive team at Medivet Richmond 24-Hour Hospital, a busy, well-equipped hospital environment that thrives on teamwork, challenge, and delivering exceptional patient care.

We are also looking for a Cardiologist Veterinary Surgeon to join us on a part-time basis, offering flexibility and the chance to work alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team within our state-of-the-art hospital. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong interest or qualification in cardiology who is passionate about providing advanced cardiac care and supporting complex medical cases.

We understand that work-life balance is important, so this role is flexible. Whether you're looking for 2–3 days per week, school-hours shifts, or another arrangement, we are happy to have a conversation to create a schedule that works for you. This makes it an ideal opportunity for someone seeking a part-time role while continuing to develop their clinical skills in a dynamic hospital setting.

As a Richmond vet, no two days are the same. You'll experience a broad range of cases, from routine consultations, surgeries, and dental treatments to complex medical workups and emergency care. Our in-house facilities include a full lab, digital x-ray, ultrasound, endoscopy, and CT scanner, allowing you to diagnose efficiently and provide the highest standards of care. Exposure to emergency and critical care work will help you build confidence in fast-paced, high-pressure scenarios. A keen interest in medicine and ultrasonography is welcome but not essential.

You'll be joining a long-standing, experienced team at an exciting time of growth and regional restructure. Many of our vets and nurses have been with us for over a decade, and the hospital proudly serves as a nurse training practice and graduate vet residency provider. You'll also have the chance to assist with advanced surgeries, including soft tissue and orthopaedic procedures.

Located in picturesque South West London, Medivet Richmond is close to Kew Gardens and Richmond Park and well-connected via mainline rail, Overground, Underground, and bus routes. Free parking is available, with easy motorway access nearby.

If you're looking for a flexible, rewarding, and varied role where you can continue to develop your skills while enjoying a supportive team environment, we'd love to hear from you.

For an informal chat or further information, contact Nabi Issrar at or call .
