Job Title: Deputy Room Leader
Location: Tunbridge Wells TN4
Type: Full-Time | 40 Hours per Week | 5 Days a Week
Salary: Up to £30,000 per year (Dependent on Experience)
Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Deputy Room Leader to support the Room Leader in managing a nursery room for children aged 2–3 years. The ideal candidate will have senior experience working with this age group and hold a Level 3 qualification in childcare or early years education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Room Leader in leading and managing the room and staff.
- Plan and implement engaging activities for children aged 2–3 years.
- Ensure the safety, wellbeing, and development of all children.
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress and daily activities.
- Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and colleagues.
Requirements:
- Level 3 qualification in childcare or early years education.
- Senior experience working with children aged 2–3 years.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Caring, enthusiastic, and committed to early years development
