This is where you come in. We are looking for a passionate and hands-on Resort Facilities and Maintenance Assistant to join our small, dedicated team. Your Role: The Heartbeat of Our Resort

As our Resort Facilities and Maintenance Assistant, you will be the go-to person for ensuring our facilities are pristine, safe, and perfectly presented for our guests. Your responsibilities will be varied and vital, including:

• Being the champion of our guest experience, ensuring every detail contributes to a memorable stay.
• Conducting day-to-day repairs, planned preventative maintenance, and painting & decorating to keep our lodges and facilities in immaculate condition.
• Mastering the safe cleaning, maintenance, and chemical balancing of our hot tubs, ensuring a luxurious and safe experience for our guests.
• Keeping our beautiful landscapes picture-perfect through grass cutting, weeding, and general grounds maintenance.
• Taking ownership of Health & Safety, conducting checks, preparing risk assessments, and meticulously managing legislative paperwork.
• Organising and scheduling trades work, keeping key areas organised, and forward-planning for seasonal changes.
• Assisting in all other areas of the operation as required to maintain a strong one team ethos.
• This role will also include occasional participation in an on-call rota, carrying the Out of Hours Emergency phone.

Your Landal Adventure, Your Way: Full-Time or Part-Time

We are on the lookout for one passionate individual to take full ownership of this role and become the driving force behind our facilities as we grow.

However, in our quest to find the very best talent, we are excited to offer a flexible approach. We understand that top-tier skill and passion can come in different packages. For the right individuals, we would be open to splitting this dynamic role into two part-time positions, creating a job-share partnership that fuels our resort's heartbeat.

• Preferred Full-Time Role: 35 hours per week, 5 days out of 7. Shift pattern is Monday to Friday 9:00 am - 5:00 pm, with weekend work (10:00 am - 3:00 pm) on a rota basis.
• Part-Time Option: If we take this route, each part-time role would be for a maximum of 25 hours per week over 3-4 days (which will include weekends on a rota basis).

Who You Are:

• A practical, proactive problem-solver who isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves and get stuck in.
• You have a sound understanding of general maintenance and, ideally, hot tub systems.
• You are safety-conscious with a keen eye for detail.
• A fantastic organiser and communicator, happy working both independently and as part of a team.
• Driven by a strong work ethic, you take great pride in a job well done and are motivated by creating exceptional experiences for others.
