The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Bolton area. We are looking for multiple HGV Drivers to join the team.

*Class 1 will require between 3-6 months experience unless you have drove Class 2 prior to Class 1*

Roles available:
  • HGV Class 1 afternoons - 14:00pm starts.
  • HGV Class 1 nights - 22:00pm starts.

Hours: 5 out of 7 shifts a week across Monday to Sunday (weekends included & required).
Pay Rate:
  • Class 1 afternoons - £14.41 rising to £15.11 after 12 weeks.
  • Class 1 nights - £15.92 rising to £16.62 after 12 weeks.

Location: Bolton, BL5.
Job Type: Ongoing with an opportunity for permanent for the right candidate.
The role:
  • Securely moving and transporting palletised parcels to couriers or collecting them from delivery units.
  • Handling runs, focusing on safe driving and maintaining accurate paperwork.
  • Drivers will be required to assist with loading and unloading of the vehicle using a tail lift and pump truck.
  • Interacting with customers and representing the company in a professional and courteous manner.

Requirements:
  • Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category C&E or C).
  • Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
  • Class 1 will require between 3-6 months experience unless you have drove Class 2 prior to Class 1
  • No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
  • Full understanding of WTD legislation.
  • Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • A safety-first mindset.
