Jewson Partnership Solutions (JPS), who specialise in providing solutions and building materials for our customers in the Public Sector such as Housing Associations and Local Authorities, is on the hunt for a Customer Service Advisor who's as passionate about great service as we are.

This is a varied role where the successful candidate can expect to be customer facing on site, on the trade counter and in our warehouse.

Working hours – 7.30 – 5.00 Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities:

  • Driving a 3.5 tonne van to assist with customer deliveries

  • Help to prepare customer orders, load and unload customer and supplier vehicles using a Forklift Truck to minimise manual handling (training will be provided)

  • Check incoming deliveries and report missing or damaged products

  • Maintain stock levels, carrying out regular stock counts

  • Keep the branch looking clean and tidy. Make Health & Safety a priority and demonstrate how you can keep yourself and others safe at work

  • Use our in-house systems to process customer orders, organise delivery times, and keep customers updated throughout their journey

Required Skills and Experience:

  • A full UK driving license, is essential, preferably with experience in driving a 3.5t van

  • Previous industry experience preferred but not essential

  • Experience in a customer facing environment

  • Passion for working with people

  • A positive can-do attitude
