Job Description
Your Responsibilities:
This is a leadership position within the Quality Tech Center Auditing Team. This position will support and drive continuous improvement with a focus on Food Safety and Quality Management System compliance across ADM suppliers and comanufacturers in EMEA. Duties will include;
- Perform approval audits at suppliers, comanufacturers and warehouses
- Conduct Internal Quality and Food Safety audits and assist with root cause/corrective actions at ADM manufacturing plants when needed
- Conduct Peer Reviews with other internal auditors to align on expectations of the standard
- Work with new auditors to coach and mentor the expectations of the internal audit process in addition to cross training across all of ADM's business units and product lines
- Work with plants on closing action register created during audit while providing support where needed
- Helps to drive metrics that support the closure of audits within the agreed upon time frame and watching for trends that affect KPIs
- Perform effectiveness audits of corrective actions as directed by the BU or QMS Audit Manager
- Provide guidance regarding expectations and policy/procedures that support them.
- Support the implementation of the Quality Management System across all aspects of the company
- Take part in cross functional teams to assure effective implementation of food safety and quality initiatives and other processes, as necessary
- Provide training in food safety and internal audit via web and classroom
Your Profile:
- Knowledge of GFSI Benchmarked Schemes (SQF, FSSC, and BRC), GMP & GMP+ Audits
- ISO 22,000 Internal auditor certified preferred
- Knowledge of Food Safety and HACCP programs like GMP's, Sanitation, Pest Control, Environmental Monitoring, etc
- Knowledge of Regulatory requirements and Food Microbiology preferred
- Ability to identify issues of concerns and develop corrective action plans
- Effective communication, leadership & organizational skills
- Good computer skills
- Root cause analysis and trouble shooting skills
- A Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Animal Science, Meat Science, Biology or related field; or comparable years of experience, preferred
- 5-10 years of experience in Quality & Food Safety
- Food Plant experience
