Our Goal

We are seeking an experienced ADHD Clinician to join our friendly, professional team. The candidate MUST have experience in prescribing ADHD medication and carrying a caseload for commencement and titration of medication for patients. Please only apply if you have formal training in prescribing ADHD medication and 6 months + of prescribing (commencement and titration). This role does not involve assessment for diagnosis, it focuses on commencement and titration of medication.

The role will be remote, the hourly fee of £80 per clinical hour of direct patient contact.

You will have experience in ADHD medication initiation and titration. Experience with adult ADHD medication prescribing is essential, although additional experience with children would be a bonus.

You will become a core member of our friendly, supportive team. Hours can be negotiated, we are initially seeking around a 15 hours a week, spread over 2 to 3 days a week. As we have a Right to Choose contract these hours are likely to increase.

Working hours are very flexible and can be tailored to your needs, spread across the week, within shortened days or condensed into longer days around your commitments. If required, these hours may increase as the business grows.

This role is as an Associate, on a consultation contract. It is ideal for candidates who wish to work through their own limited company. There will be a 2 month notice period and ideally we are looking for a candidate for at least 6 to 12 months, possibly longer - someone to become a core member of our small, friendly team.

Our Service

Midlands ADHD Clinic is a CQC registered service with a Right to Choose contract for ADHD assessments for adults, children and ADHD medication for adults (medication for children offered privately). Midlands ADHD Clinic is the new trading name for the ADHD pathway that has already been established with Malvern Hills Private Practice - a well-respected, private mental health clinic established in 2013. The team has 14 Clinicians and 4 admin staff.

Our Approach

We provide high-quality, thoughtful, and unhurried ADHD assessments and medication consultations, to ensure accurate, person-centred care. Our reflective, patient-focused approach prioritises quality over quantity. All patients are seen either through remote video conferencing or face to face. We have a reputation for psychologically minded, high quality care. The service is family run by Consultant Clinical Psychologist Dr Abigail Pamich and Finance/ IT director Mr Daniel Pamich.

Candidate Description

We are seeking a nurse or pharmacist with a specialism in ADHD and mental health, who are confident working independently, with strong attention to detail and a commitment to following our standardised procedures. Our streamlined, tech-driven processes are designed for safe, efficient care. We believe strongly in creating a supportive, reflective and enjoyable work culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Initiate, titrate, and monitor patients on ADHD medications (stimulant and non-stimulant) as appropriate.
  • Manage a caseload of clients, ensuring regular reviews in line with service protocols and NICE guidelines.
  • Prescribe medications using approved formularies, and monitor for effectiveness, safety, and ongoing suitability.
  • Work closely with the clinical director and core admin team, contributing ideas on the development of the service as we grow.
  • Undertaking CPD where required for the role and CQC and initial training on IT systems.

Person Specification

  • Registered Mental Health Nurse (NMC) with a V300 Independent Prescribing qualification or Registered Prescribing Pharmacist with V300 certificate
  • Experience in mental health
  • Formal training and experience in ADHD Medication initiation and titration.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Maintains compliance with professional registration and service standards.
  • Able to learn our IT systems and follow set processes
