Exciting Opportunity for Pharmacy Dispenser

Redhill Pharmacy is a community-focused pharmacy dedicated to providing exceptional service and healthcare. We are focused on providing other services such as vaccinations, ear wax removal, bp checks in addition to traditional dispensing services.

We have an exciting opportunity to work in our busy pharmacy in Wellingborough and are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Dispenser to join our team.

To start in December 2025. This role is ideal for someone passionate about health care and looking to make a positive impact in the lives of our customers. The candidate MUST have dispensary experience and formal training qualification from NPA or Buttercups training or similar provider.

Position: Pharmacy Dispenser, Location: Redhill Pharmacy, NN8 4UQ, Wellingborough.

Full time 40 hours a week, Permanent, Competitive Salary: £12.21- £12.50 per hour - Depending on experience and qualification.

Benefits: Bonus for various services -Monthly bonus paid for BP check- £2 per check, NMS sign up target £2 per sign up and ear wax removal £10 per patient. Also, a Company Pension, Staff discount is provided.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently.
  • Provide excellent customer service by assisting patients with inquiries and concerns in person and over the phone.
  • Collaborate with pharmacists to ensure compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations.
  • Participate in continuing education and training programs to stay updated on new medications and procedures and deliver services such as Ear wax removal.
  • Liaise with local surgeries and build relationships and sort prescription queries.
  • Stock management (send orders, check goods in, chase up credits.), date checking.
  • Day to day admin duties related to the pharmacy dispensary.
  • Be a good team player.
  • Deliver NHS services such as blood pressure checks, flu jabs, discharge medicine service.
  • Serving on the front counter.
  • Further training & upskilling will be provided to carry out further NHS services.

Requirements:

  • Certification as a Pharmacy Dispenser (or equivalent)
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Willingness to learn new skills and implement new ways of working.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Prior experience at least 1 years in a pharmacy setting ESSENTIAL.
  • Hours of work will be Monday to Friday with an hour unpaid lunch break. An afternoon off will be given during the week.
