HGV Class 1 Driver (Nights)

We are looking to recruit HGV C+E (Class 1) driver to operate from our Head Office in Penistone, S36 9FN. The shift pattern for the role is open to discussion, whether Monday-Friday or Tuesday to Saturday, usual start time from 6pm. Daily hours vary, to be discussed during the interview stage.

Responsibilities

  • You will be responsible for collecting and delivering animal by-products nationwide
  • Completing all legally required documentation concerning movement of products
  • Drivers' hours rules and regulations including working time regulations
  • Use of tachographs and vehicle first user checks

Requirements

  • Adhering with UK and EU driving regulations, you must hold a clean HGV C+E driving license, current DCPC card and Digital Tachograph Card
  • Experience in the movement of animal by products will be an advantage
  • Skip loader (Hooks / chains) experience would also be an advantage
  • Wagon and Drag experience
  • ADR qualification (Tanker experience) desirable but not essential.
