Senior Development Manager (Affordable Housing)
to join the Partnerships team at
Churchill Living
, a respected and fast-growing developer delivering high-quality affordable and mixed-tenure homes.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced development professional to lead the end-to-end delivery of Design & Build projects for registered providers — from agreed terms through planning, detailed design, construction, and handover.

The Role

As Senior Development Manager, you'll take ownership of:

  • Managing affordable and mixed-tenure schemes from pre-contract to completion
  • Overseeing design & build processes to ensure quality, compliance, and commercial performance
  • Coordinating planning, legal, commercial, procurement, and construction inputs Ensuring schemes meet Section 106, regulatory, and affordable housing standards
  • Supporting grant funding processes with Homes England and other partners
  • Managing risk, project reporting, KPIs, cashflow awareness, and contract administration
  • Building strong relationships with local authorities, registered providers, consultants, and stakeholders

About You

We'd love to speak with candidates who have:

  • Experience delivering affordable or Mixed housing schemes
  • Strong understanding of viability, appraisals, and D&B delivery
  • Working knowledge of planning, building regulations, and grant funding
  • Excellent project management and stakeholder engagement skills
  • A background with a developer, housebuilder, RP, or consultancy Ideally, a relevant professional qualification (MRICS, MCIOB etc.) — not essential
