Job Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. As a key member of our hospitality environment, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our patrons while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Your role will involve serving drinks, maintaining cleanliness, and contributing to an enjoyable experience for all guests.

Duties

  • Serve a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, in a timely and professional manner.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations while handling and serving food and drinks.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
  • Engage with customers, providing recommendations and taking orders accurately.
  • Manage cash transactions efficiently, utilising basic math skills for accurate billing.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service during busy periods.
  • Demonstrate excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders simultaneously.
  • Assist in restocking supplies and inventory management as needed.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred but not essential; a willingness to learn is key.
  • Strong hospitality skills with a passion for providing excellent customer service.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices is advantageous.
  • Basic math skills for handling cash transactions effectively.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks efficiently.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £12.21-£12.31 per hour

Expected hours: 12 – 24 per week
