Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Back End Developer located in the London Area, United Kingdom. The Back End Developer will design, build, and optimize server-side applications, databases, and systems. Responsibilities include developing scalable server logic, ensuring database integration, improving application performance, troubleshooting, and collaborating with front-end developers to refine application functionality. The developer will also work on implementing security measures to safeguard applications and support software development projects aligned with the organization's mission to protect intelligent systems.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Back-End Web Development and Software Development principles
- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
- Ability to collaborate and work effectively with Front-End Development teams
- Experience in Programming and applying coding best practices
- Knowledge of security best practices and secure coding standards
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Familiarity with distributed systems, cloud environments, or AI security is a plus
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in an innovative and fast-paced environment
