Salary: £38,000 per year

Hours: 40 hours per week

About the Role

We're looking for a Multi Trader / Handyman to join our growing team, supporting our external wall insulation and rendering projects.

This is a practical, site-based role focused on enabling works, ensuring properties are fully prepared for our rendering teams to carry out installations smoothly and safely.

You'll be involved in a variety of tasks — from light plumbing and electrical works to basic carpentry, roofing and general building maintenance. We're looking for someone who enjoys a varied workload and takes pride in delivering quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out enabling works on residential and commercial properties ahead of EWI & rendering installations
  • Complete a range of general building and maintenance tasks, including:
  • Basic plumbing (taps, downpipes, exterior water feeds, etc.)
  • Basic electrical work (removing/reinstating lights, sockets, cables, etc.)
  • Carpentry (fascias, soffits, timber trims, boxing in, etc.)
  • Roofing and guttering adjustments as required
  • Make good areas ready for rendering teams (remove fixtures, prep walls, small patch repairs, etc.)
  • Work independently or as part of a small team to meet deadlines
  • Communicate with site supervisors and office staff to ensure works are completed efficiently
  • Maintain company tools, van and equipment in good condition
  • Follow company health & safety procedures at all times

Skills & Experience Required

  • Previous experience as a Multi Trader / Handyman or similar role
  • Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry and roofing works
  • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Full UK driving licence (essential)
  • Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to adapt to changing workloads and project requirements

Desirable

  • Experience in plastering or rendering (not essential)
  • CSCS card or other trade qualifications
  • Previous experience on EWI or external refurbishment projects
