Experienced Primary SEN Teaching Assistant - School-Based Role | Havering | Daily Rate £105-£115

A well-established primary school in Havering is seeking an experienced and skilled Primary SEN Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated team on a day-to-day and short-term basis, starting ASAP.

This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive professional to provide expert support to children with Special Educational Needs, contributing to their academic progress and emotional wellbeing in a supportive, inclusive environment.

ROLE DETAILS

  • Primary SEN Teaching Assistant role for experienced candidates
  • Based in Havering, London
  • Day-to-day cover and short-term assignments available
  • ASAP start
  • Pay: £105 - £115 per day, dependent on experience and qualifications
  • Work closely with SENCO and class teachers to deliver targeted support across EYFS and KS1/KS2

PERSON SPECIFICATION

  • Proven experience supporting children with SEN in a primary school setting
  • Strong knowledge of primary curriculum, SEN strategies and behaviour management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Patient, adaptable, and empathetic approach
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Commitment to professional development and reflective practice
