Key Responsibilities

  • Support recruitment and onboarding, including inductions, documentation, and right-to-work checks
  • Maintain accurate HR records and ensure compliance with Data Protection legislation
  • Update absence and time management systems and prepare payroll input reports
  • Support managers with absence and performance management processes
  • Prepare HR letters, contracts and employee documentation
  • Attend formal HR meetings as a note taker
  • Provide advice on HR queries, policies and procedures
  • Manage petty cash accurately and in line with company policy
  • Reception cover, post allocation, meeting room bookings and general office support
  • Complete weekly agency timesheets and support the office team during peak periods

What you'll bring

Essential:

  • Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS Outlook, in particular)
  • Minimum 2 years HR admin experience
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of HR processes, basic employment law & GDPR
  • Accurate record-keeping and HR system use
  • Discreet and professional with sensitive information
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritise work

Desirable:

  • HRIS/time & attendance system experience
  • Previous HR Officer or HR advisor experience
  • Experience in fast-paced or multi-site settings
  • CIPD Level 3 or above (or working towards)
