Summary
We are seeking a Catering Manager to join our team at Cafe on the Park in the Cheadle area. This role is vital in ensuring our catering operations run smoothly and efficiently, contributing to our mission of delivering high-quality dining experiences. This is a Monday to Friday role with just a few evenings a year. Off bank holidays.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all catering operations, ensuring high standards of food quality and service.
- Manage and train staff to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Develop and implement catering menus that reflect seasonal offerings and customer preferences.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean kitchen environment.
- Coordinate with suppliers for timely delivery .
- Monitor inventory levels and manage food production efficiently.
- Foster a positive team environment that encourages collaboration and growth.
- Handle customer inquiries and feedback to enhance satisfaction.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience in catering management or a similar role.
- Good culinary skills with a focus on food preparation and safety.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
- Prior experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred.
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with staff and customers.
