Venture Capital Analyst - Venture Marketing (Venture Capital & Startup Ecosystem)

Are you curious about the world of startups and venture capital?

Simsan Ventures is looking for a Marketing Intern to support campaigns, content, and events that shape the stories of innovation in healthtech and deep tech.

Company Description:

Simsan Ventures is an International Umbrella of Venture Funds with a focus on early-stage diversity-focused venture capital that supports underrepresented founders and diverse teams working on frontier technologies and impactful solutions.

We specialise in Deep Tech and Fintech startups, focusing on early-stage investments from pre-seed to Series A. Simsan Ventures aims to drive cross-border innovation, bridging UK, Europe with South Korea and India to access rapidly growing markets. Beyond funding, Simsan Ventures invests in nurturing future venture capitalists, general partners, and founders through its unique Simsan Academy initiative and fosters a network of collaboration, education, and innovation. All hires will have exposure to all our international fund strategies which include Early Stage Investment, Film, Media and Entertainment, Pre IPO Mezzanine Debt, Impact and more.

Requirements:

  • Experience in Digital Marketing, Branding, and Social Media Management for driving impactful engagement and outreach strategies
  • Strong Content Development, Market Research, and Communication skills to create compelling materials and analyze industry trends
  • Proficiency in Creative Tools, Data Analytics, and Marketing Automation platforms is preferred
  • Collaboration skills, creativity, and adaptability in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Familiarity with the venture capital ecosystem or startup environment is a plus
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field

What you'll do:

  • Assist in planning and running marketing campaigns across LinkedIn, email, and other digital channels.

  • Help create content such as social posts, feature articles, and newsletters for investor and startup audiences.

  • Contribute directly to the design and development of marketing collateral, including pitch decks for Simsan and portfolio startups.

  • Support market research, collect data on trends, and help prepare reports and presentations for the team.

  • Help with event planning for panels, workshops, and pitching days, both virtual and in-person.

  • Join brainstorming and creative strategy sessions with the Global Simsan team.

  • Attend training and networking events as part of your professional growth.

Who you are:

  • Early-stage marketer, recent graduate, or current student with coursework or personal projects in marketing, business, or communications.

  • Eager to learn, take initiative, and share fresh ideas for engaging campaigns.

  • Comfortable with social media, content writing, and researching new startups.

  • Organized, collaborative, and always looking for ways to solve problems creatively.
