Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('Versant') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. The well-capitalized company will have significant scale as a pure-play set of assets anchored by leading news, sports and entertainment content. Job Description

INTERNATIONAL DIGITAL DISTRIBUTION

NBCUniversal is a leader in providing entertainment programming to the US and international marketplaces. The International Digital Distribution division is responsible for the international distribution of NBCUniversal products to all forms of linear and digital media. This includes distribution of current and library theatrical movies, direct-to-video movies, documentaries and specials, plus all forms of television product – scripted TV series, non-scripted TV series, mini-series, animation and TV movies.

OVERVIEW – ROLE PURPOSE

The Associate Content Producer (Operations) will be the expert in all things vertical video, with ability to analyse results that feed into growth strategies for our vertical video portfolio.

Working collaboratively with the team and to tight deadlines the ACP (Operations) will reformat, manage and publish a high volume of video assets across our premium vertical video portfolio to deliver on our strategy for growth across several Snap shows and TikTok handles.

You will play a key part in the success of the rapidly growing AVOD distribution team. Working with multiple teams, you will provide operational support for the team in asset management and technical tasks to better the efficiencies of our workflow.

You will work on a wide variety of projects across AVOD and FAST and will be given an opportunity to demonstrate original thinking in a fast-moving, high-volume environment. We publish at high volume across our world beating AVOD network to a global audience of millions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage asset workflow ensuring upload cadences are achieved.
• Identify existing videos for distribution across existing and new vertical channels.
• Ability to reformat video content between multiple aspect ratios.
• Ad hoc 'in and out' editing and delivery of videos using Adobe Premiere suite.
• Assess performance of published videos.
• Media management organisation of video assets and files.
• Operational support required by the team to better workflows.
• Coordinate FAST platform asset creation and delivery.

Qualifications

DESIRED CHARACTERISTICS

• Fully conversant with minimum 3 key platforms: YouTube, TikTok and Snap.
• Proven track-record in delivering arresting content at speed in a high-output team.
• Proven ability to generate assets that deliver high viewing and engagement.
• Intermediate Adobe Premiere and Photoshop skills.
• Strong media asset organisational abilities.
• Able to pivot strategy quickly based on viewing data and user trends.
• Confidence to generate and champion original ideas.
• Strong knowledge of the AVOD landscape and audience expectations.
• Ability to work creatively and collaboratively within a small, entrepreneurial unit.
• Ability to take feedback and optimise on the way.
• Highly engaged in social media and willing to recommend latest trends and ideas.

Qualifications/Requirements

Basic Qualifications

• Degree in creative arts and design, graphic design, digital media and creative computing or similar.
• Portfolio that highlights individual creative flair within a commercial context.
• Proficient skills in Photoshop, Premiere, Excel and Word

• Fully conversant with all major social networks.

• Minimum 1 years' experience gained in a digital media environment.
