The Role

We are seeking a kind, patient and dedicated Female Care Assistant to support a young adult with Cerebral Palsy. This is a highly rewarding role supporting independence, dignity and social inclusion — including attending university and social activities.

You will also have the opportunity to work with other clients if you wish to expand your hours.

We are looking for individuals who will genuinely match and complement the client's personality, building a positive and trusting working relationship.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting attendance at university and social activities
  • Assistance with personal care and hygiene
  • Supporting a balanced diet in line with preferences and health needs
  • Laundry and daily living tasks
  • Medication support
  • Providing companionship and emotional support
  • Maintaining accurate care records
  • Following all safety, health and confidentiality policies

Working Hours Available

  • Days: 7AM – 7PM, 7 days per week

£12.82 per hour

  • Waking Nights: 7PM – 7AM, 7 days per week

£14.00 per hour

Flexible rotas available using our Week 1 & Week 2 rota system so you always know when you're working.

What We're Looking For

  • Female applicants only (client requirement)
  • Compassionate, patient and empathetic personality
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Flexible approach to shifts
  • Willingness to complete a DBS check and required training
  • Driving licence preferred but not essential
  • Care experience preferred but not required – full training provided
