Key Account Manager 

Geographical area - South West

To manage the growth of the Bayer Radiology Portfolio business by having sole responsibility for exceeding or meeting the financials for the Radiology Portfolio within a designated territory and customer group. To meet or exceed financial goals for your respective territory by promoting, demonstrating and selling MR/CT/Angio products (contrast, software and medical devices) to NHS Trusts and Health Boards, through Consortiums ,e.g. NHS Supply Chain, NHS Shared Business Services, and in conjunction with the Original Equipment Manufacturers e.g. Siemens, Philips. In addition promotion to the National Private Sector customers. e.g InHealth, Alliance, Spire, BMI Circle etc.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Prepare and implement a Key Account Business Plan to achieve/exceed agreed sales targets.Manage defined NHS and private healthcare Key Account customers; successfully manage current Key Account contracts.Maintain an in depth understanding of NHS and private healthcare procurement and knowledge of Radiology products and competitors in order to ensure successful outcomes of key account tendering and to identify new business opportunities. To present and agree a financial plan demonstrating the projected territory contribution to the national Radiology target.Pro active communication of current market and competitor information and analysis of competitor pricing policy to Area General Manager, and Marketing Manager, highlighting possible opportunities/threats that this information may present.Clear demonstration of DSO values and indicative behavioursAchievement of additional personal objectives outlined in the Personal Management Plan.Ensure adherence to company and industry specific codes of practice or conduct, advertising codes, regulatory directives and guidelines, as applicable to the role, and to the Program for Legal Compliance and Corporate Responsibility at Bayer

WHO YOU ARE

Essential competencies: Delivery of results, Action orientation, Customer Focus, relationship Management, Financial Analysis,Graduate standard or equivalent intellect.Commercial experience in the healthcare industry in a sales/key account role.Resides on territory.Ability to use IT as a business tool, ideally experience of Outlook and MS Office.Full driving license.
