Overview

We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in using both hand and power tools. As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various types of machinery and vehicles, ensuring they operate efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose mechanical issues and determine the necessary repairs or maintenance required.
  • Perform routine maintenance on vehicles and machinery, including oil changes, brake inspections, and tyre rotations.
  • Use hand tools and power tools effectively to carry out repairs and installations.
  • Keep accurate records of work performed and parts used during repairs.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment by following safety protocols and regulations.
  • Stay updated on the latest industry developments and repair techniques.

Qualifications

  • Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in automotive or machinery repair.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, and pliers.
  • Experience with power tools including drills, saws, and grinders is highly desirable.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with colleagues and clients.
