Pest Control Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Pest Control Technician to join our professional team. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, identifying, and treating pest infestations in residential and commercial properties. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, providing effective pest management solutions while ensuring safety and customer satisfaction. A valid driver's licence and a proactive attitude are essential for this position.
Duties
- Conduct thorough inspections of premises to identify pest activity and entry points
- Develop customised treatment plans based on inspection findings
- Apply appropriate pest control treatments using safe and effective methods
- Advise clients on pest prevention strategies and maintenance procedures
- Maintain accurate records of treatments performed and areas serviced
- Ensure all equipment is maintained, and used in accordance with health and safety regulations
- Follow environmental health guidelines to minimise impact on surroundings
- Respond promptly to service requests and schedule appointments efficiently
Experience
- RSPH Level 2 in Pest Management (or working towards)
- Previous experience in pest control or related environmental services is essential
- Knowledge of pest species, treatment techniques, and safety procedures is required
- Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record is required
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple appointments effectively
- Excellent communication skills to liaise confidently with clients and team members
- Ability to work independently while adhering to company policies and safety standards
