We are a growing transport consultancy seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Trainee Compliance Officer to join our team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a career in transport compliance and gain hands-on experience within a supportive and professional environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in maintaining and updating compliance records and documentation.
  • Support senior compliance officers during site visits and audits.
  • Learn to review transport operations to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Help implement and monitor compliance policies and procedures.
  • Provide administrative support to the compliance team, including preparing reports and correspondence.
  • Liaise with customers and regulatory bodies under supervision.

About You:

  • Interest in transport operations, logistics, or compliance (essential).
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
  • Good communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and follow guidance.
  • Basic IT skills (Microsoft Office, spreadsheets, etc.).
  • Full driving licence or working towards obtaining one (preferred).

  • Training and support provided to gain qualifications such as the CPC in Road Haulage or Passenger Transport.
