Trainee Compliance Officer

We are a growing transport consultancy seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Trainee Compliance Officer to join our team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a career in transport compliance and gain hands-on experience within a supportive and professional environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in maintaining and updating compliance records and documentation.
- Support senior compliance officers during site visits and audits.
- Learn to review transport operations to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Help implement and monitor compliance policies and procedures.
- Provide administrative support to the compliance team, including preparing reports and correspondence.
- Liaise with customers and regulatory bodies under supervision.
About You:
- Interest in transport operations, logistics, or compliance (essential).
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team and follow guidance.
- Basic IT skills (Microsoft Office, spreadsheets, etc.).
- Full driving licence or working towards obtaining one (preferred).
Role Details:
- Suitable for recent graduates or individuals seeking to start a career in compliance.
- Training and support provided to gain qualifications such as the CPC in Road Haulage or Passenger Transport.
- Part-time or full-time hours available, with opportunities for progression.
