Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Salary: National Minimum Wage
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time (50 hours/week)

Little Lion Cubs Nursery is a brand-new day nursery based in the heart of Netherfield, Nottingham. We provide a nurturing and safe environment for children aged 9 months to 5 years, rooted in Biblical principles such as love, kindness, patience, and integrity. Our setting is thoughtfully designed to support holistic development in a warm, engaging, and nurturing environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and confidence in every child.

Job Role
We are looking for a warm, reliable, and motivated Level 3 Nursery Nurse to join our growing team. You will be responsible for creating a rich, stimulating learning environment, supporting children's development through planned activities, and building strong relationships with parents and carers.
Key Responsibilities
Provide high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS framework
Plan and deliver engaging and age-appropriate activities
Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate learning journals
Ensure the environment is clean, safe, and welcoming
Communicate effectively with parents and carers
Support the nursery's Biblical values through your daily practice
Work collaboratively with other team members and management
Attend regular training, staff meetings, and contribute to continuous improvement
What We're Looking For
Minimum Full and relevant Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years or higher
At least 6 months' experience in a nursery or early years setting
Strong knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding, and child development
A caring, patient and enthusiastic attitude
Willingness to support and reflect Biblical principles in daily nursery life
Good communication and teamwork skills
Valid DBS check (or willingness to undergo one)
Desirable (but not essential):
Paediatric First Aid trained
Food Safety Level 2 or above
Basic Safeguarding training
