HD are a North West based large format print and signage company, we offer a range of products within a variety of sectors including retail, leisure, events, sporting events & exhibitions.

We are seeking a highly motivated and detailed-orientated individual to join our production team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience in the print and signage industry, have a strong work ethic and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform vinyl work including cutting, weeding, and applying vinyl to various substrates with precision and high quality.
  • Operate Mimaki printers and laminators.
  • Assist in the production of general signage, which may include operating large flatbed printers and CNC machines, assembling components, and following design specifications.
  • Conduct quality checks to ensure all signage meets required standards for accuracy and consistency.
  • Use the print management system to ensure all data is correct.
  • Operate the sewing machine for basic sewing tasks and gel edge graphics.
  • Maintain a clean and organised workshop, including cleaning equipment, organising supplies, and disposing of waste materials appropriately.
  • Pack completed jobs, ensuring they are protected for transportation and that all required documentation is included on packaging.
  • Occasionally participate in on-site installations of signage products, adhering to safety procedures.
  • Provide support to other production team members as needed to ensure timely project completion.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in the printing and signage industry.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility to work occasional overtime and weekends.
  • Knowledge of vinyl application and installation.
