Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Tire Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of tyres for various vehicles. This role requires a keen attention to detail, strong mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service. As a Tire Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and performance of our customers' vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair, and replace tyres on a variety of vehicles including cars, vans
• Perform wheel alignments and balancing to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
• Conduct thorough safety checks on tyres and related components.
• Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used.
• Provide exceptional customer service by explaining tyre options and maintenance recommendations.
• Keep the workshop clean and organised, adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of tyres and related equipment.

Experience

• Previous experience as a Tire Technician or in a similar automotive role is preferred but not essential.
• Strong mechanical skills with the ability to operate tyre changing equipment safely.
• Knowledge of different types of tyres and their applications is an advantage.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
