Eden Manor is a luxury purpose-built care home providing care for up to 80 residents, the home is designed for people requiring Residential, Dementia and End of Life care. Situated in a quiet residential area within the Morton area of Carlisle in Cumbria, the home provides residents with a peaceful environment, the home is surround by beautifully landscaped gardens and Chances Park. The home offers a supportive environment with 80 En-Suite bedrooms and comfortable lounge and dining areas. Our dedicated teams are hand selected through a rigorous recruitment process to ensure we meet the resident's individual care and social needs and provide an exceptional level of care, Eden Manor only employs permanent team members and has had 0 agency usage since opening in 2022. The home proudly embodies the Lovett Care commitment to excellence, ensuring a warm, welcoming environment where residents feel valued and supported. Eden Manor has a dedicated activities and well-being team who cover a 7 day period to provide engagement and socialisation to all who live in the home and the local community.

We are seeking to appoint a kind, caring and organised Hospitality Assistant to join our team. To ensure that residents and visitors to the Home receive an efficient food service, maintaining a clean working environment within the dining room and server at all times. We have a part time contract available with an hourly rate of £12.21 Shift times are , with alternate weekend working.

Role Responsibilities:
  • Ensure there is a provision of high standard of hospitality service.
  • Support and assist visitors.
  • Inform the Chef of any individual requirements of residents.
  • Following cleaning schedules and procedures, as per company HACCP.
  • To ensure that all training given is adhered to.
  • Ensure records and reports are properly written up.
  • Take responsible for promoting safeguarding the welfare of adults that the post holder is responsible for or comes into contact with.
Skills and experience required:
  • Hospitality or catering experience is desirable.
  • Previous experience working in a care setting is desirable.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with other members of the team.
  • Prepared to participate in the activities organised in the Home.
