We are currently seeking a full-time Boarding and Sports Assistant to join our team on a fixed-term contract. This role offers an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about working with young people in a residential setting, supporting both boarding life and sports activities.Position: Boarding and Sports Assistant Contract: Fixed Term Type: Residential/Boarding Supervisor Curriculum: United Kingdom Role Overview: As a Boarding and Sports Assistant, you will support the smooth running of the boarding house by supervising pupils outside of lesson times, assisting with evening activities, and helping to create a safe, welcoming environment. You will also assist with organising and supporting sports sessions, encouraging participation and promoting healthy lifestyles.Skills and Qualifications: - No previous experience required; training will be provided - Good communication skills with children- Ability to work effectively as part of a team as well as independently when needed - Basic organisational skills to help manage boarding routines and sports equipment - A genuine interest in sport or physical activity is desirable but not essential Values and Attitudes: - Commitment to safeguarding the welfare of children at all times - Patience, kindness, enthusiasm, and approachability when working with young people - Flexibility to adapt to changing needs within boarding life or sporting schedules - Positive attitude towards teamwork within an educational community - Respect for confidentiality alongside professionalism If you are looking for your first role in education or residential care where you can make a real difference while gaining valuable experience in both boarding supervision and sport support then we would love to hear from you.
