Job Overview
We are seeking a Production Technician to join our dynamic team. This role involves assembling various components, ensuring quality control, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment within our warehouse setting.
Duties
- Assemble products according to specifications and engineering drawings.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Conduct quality checks on assembled products to ensure compliance with standards.
- Maintain an organised workspace, ensuring all tools and materials are stored correctly.
- Computer skills required as the role requires accessing system databases and test report writing.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to the supervisor promptly.
- Follow all health and safety regulations within the warehouse environment.
Experience
- Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot basic issues would be desirable.
- Experience using hand tools and power tools for assembly tasks.
- Experience working in a warehouse setting is advantageous.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
