Faculty/Directorate

Research & Innovation Services drives impactful research and supports projects tackling global challenges in health, sustainability, and digital futures.

What you will be doing:

 Provide high-quality administrative support to Research Institute Directors.

  • Manage diaries, meetings, and events, including travel arrangements.
  • Service committees and working groups (agenda preparation, minute-taking, follow-up actions).
  • Support research funding applications and maintain research activity data.
  • Coordinate onboarding for new research projects and assist with collaborative networks.
  • Handle sensitive correspondence with discretion and confidentiality.

Qualifications/ experience:

  • 5 GCSEs at A*–C including English and Maths (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong experience using Windows-based software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Experience servicing committee meetings and managing complex administrative tasks.
  • Ability to prioritise workload, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
