The Opportunity
As a Senior Category Manager, you'll own the category management process, using insight and data to create compelling strategies and tactical plans. From pricing and promotions to merchandising, e-commerce, and NPD propositions, you'll ensure our brands and products outperform the market. You'll also lead and mentor a team, championing a consumer-led culture across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver customer category plans aligned with category vision and business objectives.
- Use market, shopper, and consumer insights to identify growth opportunities and influence retailer strategies.
- Own point-of-purchase metrics and create tactical plans for pricing, promotions, merchandising, and activation.
- Lead projects from research and concept through to in-store activation and customer communication.
- Build strong relationships with retailer stakeholders to become their go-to category expert.
- Line manage and mentor category managers and executives, supporting team development.
- Champion the voice of the consumer and shopper across the business.

- Experience with major multiple retailers and loyalty data.
- Significant category management experience within FMCG, operating at manager level.
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to turn insights into actionable plans.
- Proven ability to deliver impactful presentations and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Excellent data interpretation skills (EPOS, Kantar, Mintel) and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Leadership experience, including managing and mentoring teams.
