Fantastic opportunity for an experienced Finance Manager to join a global business with exciting plans for growth and great development opportunities.

Managing the finance teams across Europe you will focus on delivering strong analysis, accounting knowledge and work closely with senior management to drive business performance. This is a hybrid role which requires 2 days per week in the office.

The role

  • Full P&L and management accounts responsibility presenting findings to Directors and senior management team monthly to help aid decision making.
  • Provision of annual budgets and following monthly variance analysis and commentaries for budget holders along with reporting on KPIs.
  • Manage accounting teams in Europe, supervising AP, AR and Bank Reconciliations.
  • Assist with the preparation of year-end working papers and provide audit support.
  • Review tax returns and financial statements prepared by external accountants and auditors.
  • Communicate complex financial data to enable informed, growth-oriented decisions making across teams.
  • Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Review existing financial systems and make recommendations on potential streamlining and efficiencies.
  • Work closely with the Finance Director to complete other duties and special projects, as assigned.

The Candidate

  • Qualified Accountant ACA/ACCA/CIMA with significant post qualified experience.
  • Experience of dealing with European or international teams gained from working in a global business.
  • Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines prioritising individual and teams' workloads.
  • Ability to work collaborate with senior stakeholders across different departments building business relationships quickly and effectively.
