Deputy Manager
, you'll play a key role in supporting our team, developing best practice, and ensuring the highest standards of care.

The Role

Working alongside the Registered Manager, you'll:

  • Lead and supervise staff on shifts, including a minimum of 
    2 sleep-ins per week
  • Support the day-to-day running of the home and ensure robust staff cover
  • Safeguard and promote the wellbeing of children and young people
  • Deputise in the Registered Manager's absence, including during Ofsted inspections
  • Provide on-call support and make confident decisions around casework, risk management, and safeguarding
  • Support staff development through supervision, coaching, and appraisals
  • Work closely with families, professionals, and partner agencies

Essential requirements:

  • Experience in C
    hildren's Residential Care
  • Strong leadership and staff supervision skills
  • Knowledge of 
    child development
     and supporting young people with additional needs
  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities
  • Flexibility to work shifts, sleep-ins, and take part in the on-call rota
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a car
