In this role, you will partner closely with senior leaders, cross-functional teams to lead, support, and optimize high-impact initiatives that drive our business forward. This position requires strategic and system thinking, the ability to navigate complexity, and a proactive mindset to lead change in a fast-paced environment. This role will report to the Director of Strategic Transformation and Change.

Key Responsibilities

The Sr. Strategic Transformation Manager will lead and support a portfolio of high-impact programs that are complex, cross-functional, and often studio-facing in nature. The role requires seamless collaboration with internal first-party studios, corporate functions, and global teams, and SBG/SIE Leadership to deliver strategic outcomes that align with long-term business objectives. A successful candidate will be able to do the following:

  • Strategic and Systems Thinking
    • Evaluate complex business challenges through a systems lens to identify root causes and interdependencies.
    • Develop structured and practical solutions that align with SBG's long-term strategic goals and support specific project objectives.
  • Program and Risk Management
    • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of strategic initiatives from inception through implementation.
    • Proactively identify, assess, and manage risks; escalate critical risks and mitigation strategies to the broader SI team and executive leadership.
  • Process Improvement and Operational Excellence
    • Act as a continuous improvement advocate—capturing lessons learned and implementing refinements across processes, tools, and outcomes.
    • Exhibit a self-starter attitude by anticipating roadblocks and leading solutions before issues escalate.
  • Transformation, Change Management and Stakeholder Communication
    • Be the face of transformation within the business and understand the 'right' way to approach large scale transformation initiatives.
    • Effectively communicate project goals, milestones, changes, and impacts to diverse stakeholder groups and leadership teams.
    • Translate complex program activities into clear, actionable updates tailored for both executive and operational audiences.
  • Industry Insight and Contextual Awareness
    • Apply a foundational understanding of the gaming industry to assess external trends and how they could impact our projects.
    • Provide contextual input that enhances strategic decision-making, especially during cross-functional planning and change execution.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Corporate Strategy, Finance, or a related field; MBA or equivalent experience preferred.
  • 8+ years of relevant experience across consulting, tech, strategy & transformation — preferably within the technology, gaming, or entertainment sectors.
  • Proven track record of owning and delivering strategic initiatives that span across business units and functions.
  • The ability to turn a high-level business priority into actionable work that can deliver measurable results.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities; able to think holistically while managing detail.
  • Skilled communicator with the ability to influence and build consensus across diverse teams.
  • Understand the important of change management frameworks and risk assessment practices.
  • A passion for gaming and entertainment is a must
  • Some domestic and international travel may be required.
