Industrial Gearbox Technician

Huddersfield, West Yorkshire

Join a well-established engineering firm specializing in industrial gearbox repair and refurbishment. We're seeking a skilled Industrial Gearbox Technician for a permanent, full-time role.

Responsibilities:

  • Disassemble, inspect, and rebuild industrial gearboxes

  • Diagnose faults and determine suitable repair actions

  • Interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications

  • Use precision measurement tools

  • Ensure quality standards and safe working practices

  • Maintain accurate documentation and service reports

Your Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in industrial gearbox repair and rebuilding

  • Mechanical fitting and fault diagnosis skills

  • Proficiency with precision measurement instruments

  • Health and safety awareness

  • Ability to read technical drawings and handle heavy components

  • Valid UK driving license (preferred)
