Investment Associate

London, UK

£80,000/yr - £90,000/yr

A leading UK real estate investment and asset management platform is seeking an Investment Associate to join its growing team. The firm is a well-capitalised, privately owned business with institutional backing and a strong track record in the UK residential sector. With ambitious plans for future growth, the business combines investment discipline, development capability, and operational excellence.

  • Support the investment approval process, contributing to high-quality investment committee materials.
  • Analyse financial performance of assets versus underwriting assumptions, working with finance and operations teams to understand key drivers.
  • Assist in preparing fund-level performance analyses, including debt and promote structures.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development and refinement of financial models and fund management tools.
  • Support the preparation of quarterly and annual investor reporting, including fund and asset performance commentary.
  • Assist with debt financing and refinancing transactions, including leverage analysis, KPI monitoring, and covenant reporting.
  • Work closely with external valuers, lenders, and other advisers to support valuation and financing processes.

  • ACA / ACCA qualification (or part-qualified), or CFA (or studying towards).
  • Experience in investment banking, private equity, fund management, or a similar analytical role.
  • Excellent numerical, analytical, and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a proactive, collaborative mindset.
  • Experience within Build to Rent (BtR), Private Rented Sector (PRS), or related residential asset classes (e.g. PBSA, hotels) would be beneficial but not essential
  • Experience in fund-level modelling, portfolio analytics, or performance reporting.
